July 10th, 2018 Blanusa Vineyard

I feel as though just last week the shoots were emerging from their long rest over winter! Time fly’s when you’re having fun! Veraison is upon us here in the Carneros AVA. Veraison is a French term meaning “Change of color of the grape berry” and is the beginning of the final development of the berries before we harvest. We are seeing even ripening in all of our vineyards and is a sign of a good harvest to come!
